April 28, 1911: Men’s bones found while digging the drain for the new Sunday school of Weston Presbyterian Church. A contemporary newspaper article states that workmen excavating at the corner of Main and Mill streets, Weston, about 50 feet from the banks of the Humber River, came across the skeletons of 30 men only two feet from the surface.
