Goodness – if ever a town probably needed this it is my old home town. This rather odd little booklet was obviously from the text designed to attract business ot the borough and is indeed over stamped as being issued by "Williams Deacons’ Bank, Rochdale". Difficult to date but c1930, the booklet has a consise description of the borough and its trades and services.
