Double page opening of text ([61v]-[62r]) with principal initial ‘A’ supplied in gold on a background of white-vine decoration with marginal extensions; on the recto page a marginal annotation in Arabic in a 16th entury hand: ‘Today Lipari in the land of Naples’ [ie glossing ‘Eolium’underlined in the text. (Sp Coll Hunterian Be.2.7).
