The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reportedly confiscated the assets of Mohamed Aboutrika, one of Egypt’s best known and most celebrated football stars, on Thursday. The athlete announced on his official Twitter and Facebook accounts that despite the bank’s actions, he would remain in Egypt.
