The Elm Works is a manufacturer of gas and early electric street lighting that is little known – this c1933 advert (2 pages) shows them based in Summerstown, Wimbledon and making a small range of traditional gas lamps as well as some basic tungsten electric lighting. The ‘350’ swan neck bracket and open refelctor looks familiar from streetscenes, particularly of east London, as does the ‘Parade’ so I wonder if they only had a local market?
