A rather fine cut-away view acroos Boston’s Park Street station with the Common, Park St Church and the State House in the background. The city’s example of placing its streetcar (tramway) system into sub-surface subways was an early example of what many cities found useful in the 20th century and the central area tunnels, now expanded to form part of "the T" and still including this section, continue to serve Boston.
