The then independent Borough of Keighley’s offial guide for 1955 has this colourful take on the Borough’s Town Hall – with what looks like the Mayor’s limousine to hand! The town’s motto is a pun on the local river, the Worth – as in the now famous preserved railway, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
