Happy days at sea with Edmondson’s delicious and wholesome Red Seal chocolates and toffees! There are, of course, today, some subtly different connorations to the word ‘crusing but in the 1950s the reference was to the happy sea-going excursions that marked such a part of many holidays and pleasure resorts. Founded in 1880 the comapny was bought out in the 1960s by the big Liverpool name of Barker and Dobson.
