The Williams Omnibus (in use 1850-1862) was the first mass-transportation system in Toronto. Here, it’s shown in front the northern terminus of the line â the Red Lion Hotel, which stood on the east side of Yonge St., just north of Bloor St. The southern terminus was the St. Lawrence Market.
